Hindsight bias is when a person as a moment where they realized they knew what was going to happen all along. This only happens after the incident happens.
I was stupid enough to leave my cookies out in the open, in my room downstairs. Then recently, yesterday, I came back downstairs and my dog is sitting there ripping up the box after she has eaten all my cookies. At this point, I told myself, 'gosh, I should have seen this coming. I should never leave these things out in the open, because my dog will get it.'
This is considered hindsight bias because I had that moment where I suddenly realized that I knew that incident was going to happen. Looking at it now, my dog has eaten so many things because they were out in the open. I knew it was going to happen and I should not have put my cookies in a place where it was not possible for my dog to reach them.

The frontal lobe is the part of the brain that is involved in speaking, the movements of muscles, and decision making.
I used my frontal lobe all the time during spring break. From playing board games to playing wii games to playing xbox, I used my frontal lobe for every one of those things. I not only used it for games but also to decide what to get at the grocery store. I used my frontal lobe every day.
For the board games, I used my decision making skills. In order to try and win I had to use strategy which involved me in heavy thinking skills. To play my wii games I had to use my muscles movement skills with my balance. Then for my xbox games I had to use my verbal skills and intimidate the other players so I could win. For grocery shopping I had to carefully pick out what I needed to get because I only had a certain amount of money and I needed only certain things.

Sleep is known as a period of loss of consciousness that allows your body to regenerate.
I slept every night and boy did I get a good nights rest, too. While I slept, I had many dreams. One dream was that I got married to my girlfriend :) I also had many other dreams during spring break, but I will not talk of them because I do not feel comfortable.
This a good example because a dream proves that I sleep because it happens in REM sleep, which is the deepest part of the sleep that is the most important for people to feel good and not tired when they wake up in the morning.

Culture is the thing that shows each person's different behaviors, ideas, attitudes, values, and traditions by a group of peole that is passed onto the next generation.
This is mostly related to families and the way that they work. My grandpa loves to stay in touch with other people and especially family members. He has passes this trait down to my dad who now likes to be in touch with all the family members. He is being to pass it down to me to start talking to everyone more.
This is a great example because this shows the traits that each person has and that this trait is being passed down to each generation from my dad to me. The trait originated from my grandpa. I will most likely pass this trait down to my son if I get the honor of having a son.

Concrete operational stage deals with the ideas about people and their own mental states. This allows the children to think logically about things.
I had the opportunity to hang out with my Little Brother this past spring break. We did a little homework while I was with him. We worked on math. He could easily do a math problem that dealed with multiplication but when it came to division, it took him a lot longer to figure out.
This is exactly what should happen for a child in this stage. I couldn't believe how accurate from what we learned in class to how it actually is. He should have taken longer in his division than what his multiplication is.
6.
Accomodation is the process when my eye lens changes its shape so it can see far and near objects.
I remember a specific time during spring break where my contacts where bothering me and it took me a while to fix my eyes on something that was farther away. I was looking outside in my backyard and there was a squirrel but it was a little blurry and I had to continue to look at it longer in order to see it well.
This is a good example because accomodation is when the lens change to look at something farther away so that it can be more visible like something that would be closer.

Classical conditioning is a type of learing for a person to use two different stimuli to create the same response for each one.
I have classically conditioned my cats to stay off my counter. I would first spray my cats with water for them to get off of the counter. They then started noticing that when they would hear my footsteps that they would then get off the counter because they knew I would spray them if I caught them on the counter. They would be on the counter and I would be secretly be watching them and then start stomping my feet on the ground and they would jump off the counter.
This is an example of classically conditioning because the unconditioned stimulus which was the spray bottle was paired with a neutral stimulus, my walking, and then soon my walking became a controlled stimulus and caused the cats to jump off of the counter.

Memory is the persistence of learning over time through storing information and then retrieving that same information.
Before break happened, you had me do a little type of experiment. You told me to remember your phone number and I put a lot of effor into remember this information. The more effort that I put into this allowed me to remember it easier. I still remember your phone number 268-5948 :)
Since I put so much effort into remembering it, which involved me to repeat it over and over again, this allowed me to store it into my long term memory, which then will allow me to retrieve it for days, weeks, or even months, depending on how much more effort I put into remembering your phone number. I won't try to remember it because that would just be kind of creepy...
